Insulate your buildings walls
External wall insulation mitigates the amount of heat lost through a building’s walls, which is estimated to be around 45%. Insulation is fixed to the outer leaf of a building and is then covered with a thin coat of silicone render, which is available in a choice of over 500 colour options. It is a great option for customers who are looking to improve the heating efficiency of their home & want to improve the facade of their property at the same time.
EWI is the most effective way of insulating a buildings wall as it ensures the full surface area is fully insulated ensuring cold or thermal bridging is eliminated. Within this service, we also address any potential ventilation problems, carry out all the enabling works such as extending flu pipes & downpipes, make your weatherproof by sealing up all the windows & also extend the windowsills on your property. Also, the Government are currently offering an incentive where all insulation works have nil VAT on their quotes This means that it generally isn't much more expensive than having your house just rendered. At Yorkshire Rendering, we ultimately like to offer our customer an "all in one package" which not only includes the cost of the works, but for all the other relevant costs to complete the job also, such as scaffolding, waste disposal costs, enabling costs and all the finishing costs.
